Hot Off the Press: WYA Releases Track A! 
Get it now - join hundreds of youth around the world this July as they commit to completing this just-released training program in 3 months!

We want to see which region can take the greatest number of Members through Track A training by October 1, 2006!Track A has boiled down the five-part Certified Member Training into one invigorating packet that delves into the philosophy of the person, UN history and language, specific issues such as HIV/AIDS and Development, and cultural movements that have profoundly impacted history.

It is the preliminary step to further involvement, including UN and other international conference participation, organization of cultural events, establishment of campus clubs, and WYA regional and international internships.

Your Challenge: Get 2 friends on board and e-mail your regional office to begin today!

WYA in Costa Rica

Training in International Participation
The Instituto Mexicano de la Juventud and volunteers, members and friends of the Alliance hosted in Guadalajara, Mexico, a 35 young people training in international participation.  Participants came form Monterrey, Mexico City and from different universities of the State. We had the presence of Magui Merino, president of Acortar Distancias AC that explained to the participants their development model centerd in the person and the work of this organization that is now our Viviamo! project for Latin America.

WYANA monitors UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL)
When the 39th session of the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) convenes, from 19 June to 7 July 2006, WYANA externs will be on hand to monitor the process. Check back with us in August for their report from the Commission.
