Christine Violago, Director
Christine Jeanne Violago was born in Makati City, Philippines. She finished her Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies from De La Salle University Manila. As an active WYA member, Christine worked for the Decade of Dignity and Development Conference and World Youth Day membership campaign in Sydney. In 2008, she also represented WYAAP during the spring international internship in New York. Christine continuously shows her interest in the field of Economics. In 2009 and 2010, she was chosen as the Philippine Representative for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation's Voices of the Future Program held in Singapore and Japan. These gave her the opportunity to witness various economic forums with world leaders as well as interact with youth from across regions. In 2011, Christine finished her Masters Degree in Development Economics at the University of the Philippines Diliman. As a delegate to the 9th National Youth Parliament of the National Youth Commission held last May 2012, she was able to share her views in various youth issues and present resolutions that would benefit fellow Filipinos. Christine loves to travel, spend time at the beach, watch movies with friends and try out unique dishes from different regions.

Lilia Cornelio, Director of Operations
Born and raised in Manila, Lilia Cornelio is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in European Studies (International Track). Her passion lies in history, art, and culture. As a student, she became active in developing programs and activities for the exchange students studying in her university. After graduation, she spent two years working as part of the Audience Development Team of Ayala Museum, a prestigious privately-owned art and history museum in Manila. She became an intern for WYA Asia Pacific in 2009 and is also a co-founder of DiscLab, an art criticism and research organization focusing on Philippine Contemporary Art. Lilia enjoys exploring different countries and reading books.
