Daniel Wiƛniewski, Director

Daniel comes from a small village in central Poland. He studied economics at the Catholic University of Louvain and Warsaw University, and international relations at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. During his studies, he also spent a year at Kingston University London as an Erasmus student and a semester at Emory University in Atlanta. Daniel always wanted to be involved in building bridges between people from different countries and cultures. He travelled the world in order to get a broader perspective on various matters related to politics, economics and philosophy. In order to acquire international experience, he interned at the European Parliament, Permanent Representation of Poland to the European Union in Brussels and United States Congress. Daniel encountered WYA in 2006, during the conference on human dignity and solidarity organized in Warsaw. After completing his Track A training, he became a member of staff in July 2012. He enjoys spending time with friends, debating on various issues, reading about philosophy, history, politics and astronomy.

Caroline de Dorlodot, Director of Operations

Caroline de Dorlodot was born and raised in the countryside of Belgium. She holds a Bachelor in Political Sciences from the Facultés Universitaire of Namur, a Master in European Studies from the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve and a Master of European Business from the Hogeschool Universiteit Brussel. She enjoys traveling, meeting new people and discovering other cultures. During her studies, she was the manager of the organisational team of the ‘Equipes St Michel’, an association which organises activities for young, elderly and disabled people. She was also Head Chief of a belgian Scouts Movement. After her studies, her experience as volunteer for three months in a poor Andean village in Peru made her willing to further promote human dignity in society and pursuit an internship at WYA Europe. Prior to joining WYA as Director of Operations in 2014, she worked in a European association financed by the European Commission.

Antoine Mellado, Director of Advocacy

Antoine was born in Seville, Spain. He lived between there and Murcia until the age of eighteen when he decided to move to Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium to go to the University, which is one of the closest to the Institutions of the European Union. He has a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in political science and a Masters (MA) in European Studies research from the Université Catholique de Louvain. Before working with WYA he was a European Delegate of Family Watch and the International Federation of Family Development. He has also been invested in different Belgian political, social and cultural movements that always promote a society that is centered on the human person.
