European Internship Program

World Youth Alliance Europe's internship program is an opportunity for young people who are inspired by the ideas and work of the World Youth Alliance to contribute practically to WYA European projects as well as to study the ideas which have formed the WYA.

Objectives

The objectives of the internship program are:

• To contribute to the work of the World Youth Alliance through involvement in the organization and implementation of WYA projects

• To identify and train young leaders to effectively communicate on the intrinsic dignity of the human person and a culture of life 

• To develop the language and communication skills required to effectively engage the international community and the wider culture on issues relating to the dignity of the person, human rights, and integral development

• To develop an understanding of the relationship between ideas and policy

1) Dowload and fill in the application form
2) Send the completed application form, together with the requirements, which are stated and explained in the application form, via email to: Iris Reinmiedl, the Director of Operations for WYA Europe: iris@wya.net

The usual internship with WYA lasts around 3 months; however we also welcome those interested in a 6 month internship, which can be continued in another WYA regional office.  Other regional offices are located in Nairobi, Manila, Mexico and New York.

The next internship will start on October 5th and will last until December 17th 2010, these dates can however be continued and extended for another period in January.

Application deadline is July 17th 2010.  We will arrange interviews with selected candidates beginning in August.

International Internship Program

The International Internship Program allows former regional interns to intern at other regional offices. Applications should be sent through the regional offices.
