European Arts Forum 2019 : Capturing Truth in Art

November 21, 2019 - November 23, 2019

About the European Arts Forum

21st to the 23rd of November 2019.

This 2019 edition of European Arts Forum is going to be held under the topic “Capturing Truth in Art”. The idea came from the experiences of young people who seek new paths in finding the answers and discovering truth through artistic methods.

“Fantasy is escapist, and that is its glory.”

What we want to achieve is to discover the purpose of art in telling different perspectives and using artistic methods on our way to recognition of the Truth. Every art form has a quest of its own, every artists uses hers or his own technique to explore and represent his vision of the different patterns of this world, and uses hers or his talent to display his knowledge of the word that surrounds us.  This year, we are gathering personal experiences and their “development path” – their similarities and differences and discussing is there one Truth and how can it be shown using different artistic outlets.

Art is expression of the invisible in visible form, art is the opening up to something beyond us, something we cannot touch but are experiencing within ourselves at the same time. Art works are not represented only in institutions, because if we carry that beauty and imagination within ourselves, they can be expressed anywhere, anytime and in any form. If you found a treasure that is unique and unusual in everyday life you have found a piece of art.

Schedule of the Event

The 2019 European Arts Forum will be a three-day long gathering that features a wide range of events, including an exhibition of the selected artworks in the European institutions, lectures by expert speakers, small group discussions, musical performances, presentations of the projects in the field of art and culture held by participants and presentations by the participating young artists about what shaped their work.
