My name is Charles-Louis and I am a summer intern at the World Youth Alliance. When I decided to work for WYA, I was at a time in my life when I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue my studies, travel or look for a job. However, I felt that I wanted to do something meaningful with my life and develop professional skills, which is why I chose to intern at WYA.
Coming from Brussels to intern here in New York has been a fantastic opportunity. I have met interesting and dynamic people from all around the world, developed communication and teamwork skills, and most importantly I have been involved with promoting human dignity on an international level.
At WYA, I have been given the opportunity to carry out various projects that involve both my interest in international relations and my marketing skills. This internship has been a really great professional and personal experience for me.
