Life is What You Make It is a short documentary film written, produced, and directed by Tony Award and Grammy Award winner Jhett Tolentino. The screening will be on December 17, 2017 at 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

He was recognized by the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in February 2016 with “Ani Ng Dangal” Award for bringing international honor to the Philippines. He was also awarded The Outstanding Filipino American – New York (TOFA-NY) for Entertainment in 2014 at the Carnegie Hall, New York City.
He was a delegate to the 5th Filipino-American Youth Leadership Program (FYLPRO), representing the Unites States to an immersion program in the Philippines; and awarded by President Rodrigo R. Duterte The Outstanding Young Men and Women of the Philippines (TOYM) at the Malacanang Palace in December 2016.
A graduate from the University of Iloilo with a degree in Accountancy. His next project is a short documentary about his life from the slums in Iloilo City to Broadway: “Life is What You Make It“.
