WYA Africa Youth Summit 2019
July 4 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
The Youth Summit is an annual program activity that World Youth Alliance Africa hosts in collaboration with youth centered organizations and student associations as a way of congregating young people who are committed to impacting society through creating person-centered initiatives. These initiatives are pivoted from the acknowledgment of the inalienability and inviolability of human dignity.
This year’s Youth Summit will be held on Wednesday July 4, 2019 at Kabarak University in collaboration with Kabarak Law School. The theme ”Good Governance in Action” is in line with the overall World Youth Alliance broader 2019 theme of Good Governance and Human Flourishing. The summit aims to acknowledge the good efforts that young people are making to contribute to Good Governance. We are striving to see means and measures that are already in place and those that can be put in place to strengthen good governance, especially by the youth. Various research shows that Africa contains the biggest number of youths; and they have the capability to drive the change in the region.
