WYA International Film Festival

The Film Festival, in conjunction with the Decade of Dignity and Development conferences, is a celebration of WYA’s ten years promoting the dignity of the person through development. The Film Festival will showcase films from around the world to present a truly global perspective on the person and development through the eyes of youth.
The Decade of Dignity and Development, 1999-2009, celebrations are intended to unite young people, leaders in the public sector and best practices around the world to give them a global center stage. The final conference showcasing speakers from each region will be held November 14 to 15 at WYA headquarters.
1. World Youth Alliance Award for the film that best depicts human dignity.
2. 3-D Award for the film that best depicts an issue related to human development through a new perspective, a new lens.
3. Youth Voice Award for the film that best portrays the desires, abilities, needs, and culture of youth.
