World Youth Day, the largest youth festival in the world, gathers youth from around the world to celebrate life together for a few days. This year a team of over thirty WYA staff and members will journey to Madrid, Spain to promote human dignity and the family, and share in solidarity with one another! Are you one of the over two million young people planning to make this year’s pilgrimage to World Youth Day in Madrid? If so—or if you’re still undecided—come join us!
Be sure to check out below how you can take part in one of our Solidarity Excursions or visit us at the WYD Love and Life Site at the Palacio de Deportes. Just like previous World Youth Day’s, WYA will sponsor special training events to train youth on the dignity of the human person. Additionally, members of the World Youth Alliance Chamber Orchestra, a cultural program of the World Youth Alliance, will perform throughout World Youth Day festivities.
If you’re unable to join us at WYD, you can still act in solidarity by signing the WYA charter and inviting your friends to do the same. Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue to keep you updated on the many different ways you can participate in WYA at WYD at WYAatWYD.com.
