The World Youth Alliance will host the Manhattan International Film Festival, showcasing short films by young directors from around the world. Directors (under age 30) are invited to submit short films (under 10 minutes) that portray authentic accounts of the human experience. A panel of film experts will select the most promising films for a public screening and master class critique at the Manhattan International Film Festival in New York City during fall 2011. Winners may also receive a subsequent private screening at the United Nations. The application deadline for all submissions is May 31st, 2011.
