My #BestInternship So Far

You know the feeling you get too excited about everything in your life? The feeling that makes you blush a little? The feeling when you start to wonder about the beauty of life? Well, that’s exactly the feeling I get when I think about my internship experience with World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific.

Prior the first day of our internship, I expected that there would be a lot of interns, but upon receiving the email reminder, I found out that there were only three of us. Imagine, three! I expected that we will not be close because we were all quite shy, but I was wrong. We became not just workmates, but friends too. To my co-interns, Marianne and Amiko, thank you for the gift of friendship. This internship will not be as fun without the two of you. Thank you also to my new co-interns for making this internship more memorable for me.

This internship did not just teach me how to be more appreciative of my friends, but it taught me the value of every human person. It taught me how to respect other people. A person’s success would not be possible without the people caring for you. WYA, through the Certified Training Program, taught me about my value as a person and taught me how to apply the lessons I’ve learned in everyday life.

All I want to say is thank you, WYA, for the #BestInternship so far. Thank you for helping me figure out what I want to do with my life. Thank you for the unforgettable experience.
