“Bringing My Experience Home” by Jackie (Age 16, Chattanooga, TN)
Hi, my name is Jackie Schulz and I am from Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am 16 years old and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to attend the 4th annual World Youth Alliance International Summer Camp. Coming to the WYA headquarters in New York City has proven to be an awesome cultural experience as well as an educational one!
Through the camp, I have learned about the great new friends that I have made. Learning about many important issues facing today’s world will help me in the future to defend the dignity of every human person in any setting, at any time. I am excited to apply all the knowledge that I attained last week to the activities and scenarios planned for us this week.
Hopefully, I will be able to take everything that I’ve learned these past two weeks and use it back in Chattanooga at school, at home and in my community.
