Christmas is nearing once again and we would like to extend the gift of this season to the youth along with our advocacy of promoting the dignity of the person. As a global coalition of young people, the World Youth Alliance builds solidarity among youth from developed and developing nations. We train young people to work at the regional and international levels to impact policy and culture. The office of our Asia Pacific region is located in Manila.
We are pleased to inform you that World Youth Alliance will be celebrating our Christmas Party on December 11, 2010, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We will celebrate with the kids of Mt. Carmel Parish, 5th St. Broadway, New Manila, St. Elizabeth Hall. We would like to invite you to come and join us in spreading the Christmas cheer to these children!
We are also preparing food, games, and loot bags for the kids of Mt. Carmel Parish. We hope that you can help us with our project through donations in cash or kind.
Below is a Wish List for the kids and the community that you can choose from:
- 100 pcs. of pencils
- 50 pcs. of eraser
- 50 boxes of crayons (8pcs.)
- 50 pcs of water bottles
- 50 pcs of any coloring book
- candies good for 50 people
- chocolates good for 50 people
- toys good for 50 people (example: jackstones, yoyosm puzzles, pick-up sticks, etc.)
- 100 pcs tetra-pack juice
- 50 pcs brownies (or pastry for dessert)
- 100 packs of Chickenjoy w/spaghetti meal
- 50 pcs. toothbrush
- 50 pcs. toothpaste
- 50 pcs. soap
- 100 pcs. shampoo (sachet)
- 50 pcs. baby powder
- 50 pcs. face towel
