During the last ten years, the Austrian National Chapter of the WYA deepened its understanding of human dignity e.g. through discussion evenings, philosophical debates, CTP discussions, a conference on education, an excursion to the United Nations, movie nights – and last but not least friendships. Some of its highlights were a brunch with Anna Halpine in Vienna this fall and trips to Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.
It was an extremely enriching time and after due consideration, the most committed members of this chapter felt the wish to move on to a new direction: the implementation and expansion of FEMM activities.
For this reason, the Austrian National Chapter invites you cordially to a little goodbye event in Vienna on the evening of May, 19th. It won’t only be a celebration of 10 beautiful years of World Youth Alliance in Austria, but it will also be the official kick off of the new “FEMM Health” projects that have recently started in the German speaking countries. We will also have the pleasure to have Elisabeth Gudenus, FEMM coordinator for Austria, Germany and Switzerland, who will present FEMM to all the attendees.
The Austrian National Chapter looks forward to celebrating this new beginning with you!
