Anna Halpine Speaks with RomeReports.com about Sex Selective Abortion

Last month at the World Youth Alliance’s conference on Maternal Health, Women’s Health, and HIV/AIDS in Rome, Italy, WYA Founder Anna Halpine spoke with the Italian based news site, RomeReports.com on the issue of sex selective abortions.

In various countries throughout the globe, particulalry in Asia, it is becoming common for pregnant mothers to abort their child if they find out it is a girl. According to Halpine, “The base problem we’re looking at right know, is known as ‘gendercide’ or female sex selection.
