Call for Applications for the 18th International Solidarity Forum

Are you a certified WYA member? Then you might be your region’s next representative to the virtual edition of the 18th International Solidarity Forum (ISF)!

Applications are officially open for the 18th ISF to be held on March 6, 13, and 20, 2021 with the theme Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia. All selected delegates should be available to attend the live lectures (every Saturday) and the negotiation sessions that will take place in between the official lecture dates.

The International Solidarity Forum (ISF) is an annual WYA training event that brings together active and certified WYA members from around the world and subject matter experts to participate in lectures and discussions on topics relevant to ongoing international policy debates. Previous themes include Sustainable Development, HIV/AIDs, Migration and Development, and Good Governance.

Due to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 18th ISF will be held virtually. The online format will allow WYA’s best certified members and trainers to participate. Registration fees will be waived but members are welcome to give based on the suggested donation.

To apply, you must be an active World Youth Alliance member (under age 31), have successfully completed and passed the WYA Certified Training Program, and be able to communicate effectively and understand presentations in the English language.

Qualified applicants may complete the online application here. The final deadline to submit your application is January 15, 2021.
