Declaration on Development negotiated at 4th International Solidarity Forum

40 WYA members from Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America gathered in New York City 10-14 April at the 4th Annual International Solidarity Forum, where they negotiated language of the Declaration on Development. 

The declaration, which defines development as “a process that takes place at all levels of society creating a social, political, and economic environment that allows persons to reach their full physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional potential,” will be officially released in the coming weeks.
