On March 18, 2018 (Sunday), World Youth Alliance (WYA) Europe incoming Regional Director, Elisabeth Gudenus, was invited for a meeting with students and youth interested in WYA’s activities in London, UK.
The meeting was initiated by a group of students who wanted to know more about how they can engage in WYA’s mission in their country and was held at the residential student Community Newman house in the center of London. WYA Europe’s new incoming Regional Director (RD) Elisabeth Gudenus gave a talk and presentation on WYA’s History and Work, the mission it pursues, and the programs that it implements– such as the Human Dignity Curriculum (HDC), Fertility Education & Medical Management (FEMM) and Certified Training Program (CTP). She also presented the work of Chapters and the possibilities of engaging in the work of WYA.
“It was so good to see so much enthusiasm in the audience during my presentation. We were able to fix a date for a weekend CTP training in June and most of the 35 participants are eager to take part in it. There is definitely great potential for an active WYA chapter here in London,” shares Elisabeth Gudenus.
The London CTP training will take place at Newman House, on June 8-10, 2018. You can apply for the training here.
