Job Vacancies: Regional Director and Regional Director of Operations

  1) Regional Director

The World Youth Alliance North America is accepting applications for the position of the Regional Director (RD). The RD reports to the President of World Youth Alliance and supervises the regional staff. The RD is responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan at the regional level, and represents WYA as stated in the vision, mission and charter. The RD submits an annual operational plan for the region and reports on the region’s progress through appropriate reporting mechanisms and during staff meetings. The RD is responsible for new membership growth, and maintains relations with current members, donors, friends and other key contacts. The RD leads the region in advocacy on related issues, with supervision from the Director of Advocacy and subject to the approval of the President.

2) Regional Director of Operations

The World Youth Alliance North America is now accepting applications for the position of the Regional Director of Operations. The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) reports to the Regional Director and assists in the implementation of the annual operational plan for the region. The RDO is responsible for all financial related activities and compliances. The RDO maintains and develops the membership base through effective management of the internship program and other projects in conformity with the operational plan. The RDO regularly updates the regional web content on the WYA website, blogs and other online portals and oversees the implementation of all marketing and communication strategies related to the region. The RDO is responsible for entering members, donors, and key contacts on the WYA database system.
