May 29, 2020 – Through a call that was held on May 29, 2019, the WYA Latin America and the Caribbean Program Officer and LA youth leaders participated in an exhibition fair. In this event in which members from Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru participated, the different opportunities on leadership and human rights that WYA offers to certified members were discussed.
Speakers Mauricio Toledo, Ana Huerta, Andrea Gutiérrez, Sebastián Luna, Santiago Ruiz and Mercedes Richards shared their experiences. Among them were the practical opportunities for advocacy, the coordination of national and local Chapters and clubs, the training of WYA members, the International Solidarity Forum, the WYA blog and available internships on women’s health (FEMM). Meanwhile, Latin America Program Officer Paula López encouraged all members of the World Youth Alliance to be part of the online internship program that will run from June 29 to August 31.

29 de mayo de 2020: a través de una convocatoria que se realizó el 29 de mayo de 2019, la Oficial de Programas de América Latina y el Caribe de WYA y los líderes juveniles de AL participaron en una feria de exhibición. En este evento en el que participaron miembros de Argentina, Colombia, México, Paraguay y Perú, se discutieron las diferentes oportunidades de liderazgo y derechos humanos que WYA ofrece a los miembros certificados.
