Daniel Wisniewski, Regional Director of WYA Europe, recently traveled to Soest, the Netherlands to deliver a training on advocacy techniques at the European level and fundraising opportunities for youth activities. Additionally he provided young political leaders with a short description of the decision-making process of the European Union after the implementation of the Lisbon Treaty. He also instructed young activists how to acquire funding for youth activities from various sources including private donors, and European Union youth programs. As part of the workshop, he showcased different strategies and opportunities to the European Christian Political Youth Network. He covered a wide number of policy proposals taking place now at the European Union, and in particular he focused on recent debates on the Post-2015 development agenda.
