Successful CTP training in London

After the success of the last World Youth Alliance Event in March of this year, WYA Europe’s Director of Advocacy Antoine Mellado and Regional Director Elisabeth Gudenus came to London to hold the first intensive Certified Training Programme in the UK.

The event was kindly hosted again by Newman House, located right next to London’s major Universities such as LSE and UCL. 24 people signed up for the training and joined WYA Europe’s staff for three days of reading and debating complex philosophical, historical, and political explanations of Human Dignity, Freedom, Solidarity, Culture and History of Ideas. The participants also learned about WYA’s foundational history, the WYA values and mission. They were also given an introduction to WYA’s media training as well as an overview of the HDC, and FEMM programmes.

The certifications are scheduled for the first week of June, and the new members are working on fixing a date for a CTP Trainers Training in October 2018.
