Taking into account the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific has made a difficult but necessary decision to postpone this year’s WYAAP Summer Camp due to be held in Negros Oriental, Philippines from June 1 to June 6, 2020.
The health and well-being of our campers, volunteers, partners, and all those involved is our utmost priority. Due to several uncertainties, travel restrictions, and individual concerns on travel at this time, the organizers concluded that postponing the camp is the best course of action to take.
The WYAAP staff is looking to reschedule the camp at a later time this year. All current applications received will still be screened once we resume preparations for the camp. Rest assured that we are monitoring the situation carefully and will continue to provide updates about the camp on our website, email, and social media platforms.
Thank you again for your understanding as we navigate the uncertainties of this time. Thank you for your continued support to WYA and we’re looking forward to seeing this camp come to fruition soon.
For any concerns related to your participation at this year’s camp, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
