October 23, 2021, New York City, USA – World Youth Alliance Headquarters is back! After an 18 month pause on in-person events due to the pandemic, the WYA House (as it’s known) reopened its doors to a select group of friends, members, and donors with two “Welcome Back to WYA Dinner Parties” on October 15 and 22.
The New York based WYA staff (President Lord Pomperada, International Director of Operation Mille Guzman, Director of Advocacy Sofia Piecuch, Administrative and Communications Assistant Breck Giltner, and WYA North America Regional Director Siobhan Heekin-Canedy) prepared a globally-themed menu representing each of the six WYA regional offices. Several of our guests even took the opportunity to join the Pink Flyer Giving Society!
On October 23, the WYA staff met with more members and friends in Central Park for a fall picnic with cider, cookies, and pumpkin carving. All three events were a huge success, and it was a joy to finally share our love of human dignity and all things WYA in person. We hope you enjoy this selection of photos from the events!
