Weronika Janczuk is selected as 9th WYANA Regional Director

World Youth Alliance (WYA) North America is delighted to announce the selection of Weronika Janczuk as our incoming Regional Director. Weronika was born to Polish parents in Canada, grew up in Minnesota, and came to New York to study atNew York University, graduating with a self-designed B.A. in the Philosophy of the Human Person. For the past two years, she has served as WYA’s Director of Education, focusing on the development and initial pilots of WYA’s Human Dignity Curriculum (HDC) project, and before then, supported projects at WYA’s sister organization FEMM. Prior to her time as WYA staff, she sold novels as a literary agent and worked as a FEMM intern. She also loves tea.

Weronika follows Carissa Tinley, who served as Acting Director for the past six months. We are grateful to Carissa Tinley for her valuable service throughout this time, and look forward to her ongoing service to the region as a Committee member going forward.

Weronika will begin as WYA NA Director on September 12, 2016.
