World Youth Alliance Europe Applauds the Nobel Prize for Adult Stem Cell Research Discovery

 John Gurdon and Shinya Yamanaka

Two brilliant scientists Shinya Yamanaka from Japan and John Gurdon from the United Kingdom who have been awarded with the Nobel Prize in medicine for their work with adult stem cell research.

The World Youth Alliance Europe, as an organization that promotes the intrinsic dignity of the human person from conception to natural death, advocates the prevention of European Union funding for embryonic stem-cell research, and propose adult stem cell research as an alternative.   We hope that this recognition of Prof. Yamanaka and Prof. Gurdon will help direct the research focus to adult stem research.  You can read more about it here.
