Last November 8, 2014, the WYA Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) Chapter started conducting Track A Training to its founding members.
WYA Asia Pacific Summer Camp Graduates and Track A Accredited members Rogin Christ Eribal, Jennifer Reyes Tibayan, Joseph Yeo and Milarose Barraca spearheaded the lectures held at their university. Chapters 1 on Foundational History and 2 on Human Dignity were both discussed.
“The training was a whole new experience for me. It gave me a more intensified encounter with the chapters because I together with my co-trainers, were focusing on building a strong foundation of the concepts in our members so that they will be able to really defend human dignity wherever they may be in the world,” Rogin, WYA AdZU Chapter Coordinator, gladly shares.
WYA member Mohd Sarj described the Track A Training as stupendous while WYA member Jessica Duque shared that the Track A Training was an eye opening experience for her.
“The Track A Training was thought-provoking. The discourse on the philosophies, concepts, and issues concerning human dignity fuelled my enthusiasm in living out my responsibility as a dignity defender,” Pillar Cabanlit shared.
The WYA AdZU Chapter was officially accredited by their AdZU’s Office of Student Affairs last September 20, 2014.
