Saturday, October 30, 2021 – The World Youth Alliance Africa held a “FEMM Workshop” that brought together Reproductive Health experts to address some of the issues in the area of reproductive health and provide person-centered solutions when it comes to reproductive health issues and general health.
The session was led by the WYA Africa Regional Program Assistant Joy Wangui who was the MC for the event. Joy started the session with a brief introduction to the World Youth Alliance and Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM) and introduced our speakers Dr. Wahome Ngare and Mrs. Caroline Ouma.
Mrs. Caroline Ouma, a Certified FEMM teacher from Kenya and the founder and Director of Family Management Consultants (FMC) led the attendees through the basic introduction to the FEMM Program and the Human anatomy.
This was followed by a presentation from Dr. Wahome Ngare an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist and a FEMM trained Doctor who talked about Understanding reproductive health, biomarkers, and diseases of the reproductive system. The session was then followed by a very engaging Question and Answer session before closing with a wonderful group photo.
