WYA Africa gives a Talk at St. Paul’s University of Nairobi

IMG_20160623_081631[1]Wednesday, June 22, 2016—WYA Regional Director Patricia Gwambo Ahawo with interns Lilian, Pamella and Nickson visited the University of Nairobi (UoN) for a talk about World Youth Alliance Africa (WYAA) and its programs. The Nairobi University choir sang one song of thanksgiving then an opening prayer was made by the St. Paul’s choir chairman. Speaking to around 50 university students, Lilian Odongo introduced WYAA staff and interns that were present and the went ahead to talk about WYA’s global and regional programs such as the internship program, Certified Training Program, International Summer Camp, International Solidarity Forum, Human Dignity CurriculumAfrica Emerging Leaders Conference, Africa Arts Forum and Furaha camp.

DSC_0063[1]Participants were given the opportunity to express their thoughts about human dignity and ask questions about WYA programs during the open forum. Many of the participants showed interested in becoming WYA members and signed  the WYA Charter.
