The responses were overwhelming as some of the members wanted to learn more about WYA, interact, have fun, and network. Thereafter, Raymond Mutura, WYA Africa Advisory board member gave a detailed introduction about WYA and his experience with Anna Halpine, founder of WYA.
After introductions, Wangeci engaged the members in various games. The participants were then treated with some snacks, this was followed by a conversation on Family led by Ms. Cynthia Wangari, Regional Director of Africa. The members were intrigued by the topic and they expressed their opinions and views on family, surrogacy, and the dangers of undermining Human dignity and Family. After the final remarks, Wangeci led a closing prayer. Members were free to interact, network, and leave at their pleasure.
