16 campers and facilitators joined the 3rd edition of WYA Africa’s Furaha Camp from December 3-10, 2016 at Eagles Point Camp, Kenya. The 8-day camp, themed “Nature, Fun and Solidarity”, aimed to train WYA Africa members aged 18 and below on WYA’s mission and advocacy through group discussions and fun activities.
Campers participated in lectures and discussions on human dignity, freedom, solidarity and culture. The facilitators also prepared a community tree planting activity and a cultural visit to a nearby museum. The participants were also given an opportunity to showcase their talents and culture through the talent night showcase. Visit WYA Africa’s Facebook page to see more camp photos.
WYA Africa wishes to thank Eagles Point Camp and other sponsors for their support.
