WYA Africa to Exhibit works of Members on Human Rights and Human Dignity

EVENT TO MARK 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND MEMBERS MEETING WITH WYA PRESIDENT


On Saturday 15th November 2008, WYA africa will host an exhibition of pictures, essays, poems and real life experience stories on human Rights and Human Dignity from our members from across Africa.

This special event will be held at Ufungamano House lounge off Mamlaka Road, Nairobi(near YMCA Nairobi Central Hostels).This will be part of WYA’s event to mark the 60th Anniversary of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights; an important Document in the world’s history which has today shaped UN Documents, international Law and Relations to a great extent. Several young people in Nairobi will also have an opportunity to listen to expert lectures on Human Dignity,Human Rights and International Law.This will be an opportunity for those in Nairobi to meet the WYA President Mary Halpine!

 The day’s events will take place from 9am to 4.30 pm.
