WYA Concludes CTP Master Class Series

June 9, 2020 – From April to June, the World Youth Alliance hosted the first ever Certified Training Program Master Class series. The CTP MC is a virtual training event that aims to train our best and most committed certified members and alumni on the key concepts from the training program and to introduce them to expert speakers and fellow WYA leaders and alumni around the world. It is by invitation only.

The speakers were WYA Founder Anna Halpine, author George Weigel, father-son duo Joachim and Maestro Manfred Honeck, and Paolo Carozza, director of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies. The topics of the Master Classes ranged from the Philosophy of the Human Person, Culture, International Law, and Human Rights. The series concluded with a Master Class on Solidarity with Maçiej Zieba, the founder and Director of the Tertio Millennio Institute.

These discussions allowed participants to “[revisit] the texts and the ideas, only to find that what held true for [them] years ago still holds true today and is in fact even richer in meaning,” as noted by a WYA staff alumni.

A total of 127 members and alumni from 36 countries participated in the CTP Master Class series, and certificates of participation were sent to those who attended the sessions. WYA would like to thank our members, leaders, alumni and friends for their active participation and interest in this first Master Class series. We look forward to connecting more people in an engaging dialogue that promotes the human dignity of the person.
