WYA Croatia’s pilot of the HDC program

This year, WYA Croatia conducted a pilot of the HDC program and received tremendous support from educators, parents, and students. “We are thrilled to receive this Ministry approval”, commented Anna Halpine, WYA CEO and Founder,  “which follows a tremendously successful pilot program in 2016. Given the strong evaluation results, and the enthusiasm for the program from parents, teachers, and students, World Youth Alliance is grateful that the Ministry recognized the value of this program, and is open for collaboration and for the implementation of the program in educational institutions.”

WYA Croatia is now preparing to present the HDC program to schools in Zagreb and Osijek for possible implementation and use in the 2017-2018 school year.

˝I am very pleased that the Ministry recognized the value of this program and that students in Croatia will be able to learn about human dignity. Our team of volunteers has been working on this project for a year and a half now and we can’t wait to start implementing it in schools˝, said Ana Antunović, WYA Croatia’s Vice President and HDC team member.
