The WYA Week was held from October 25th to 29th in Zagreb. Interesting discussions took place in different locations throughout the city , around famous public figures from the world of politics, law, philosophy, culture, economics, education and a multitude of interested young people who attended an art workshop and round tables on cultural identity and cultural adaptation contemporary challenges. They also witnessed an introduction on civic education as a subject in schools, the change of the kuna currency to the euro and the impact of migration on European identity.

Despite the COVID-19 measures and limited capacity, there were about 250 visitors in four days. The WYA Week in the old edition is back in style! It was especially joyful after the round tables – in cafes, pubs and cafes. It was really nice to see in the same place both currently active and once active members in pleasant company. The special week ended in a festive tone – Donor Dinner held in ‘Rhythm of the city’, with the glow of lights and the sounds of the band Gavrani, with a beautiful view of the Zagreb main square, with fine food, great prizes and a hundred wonderful people.

At the Donor Dinner, €2409 was collected from tickets, raffles and donations.

Also, the following special awards were given: the ‘‘Best Volunteer of the WYA Croatia in 2021’’, the ‘‘Ambassador for Human Rights’’ and the ‘‘Best Young Entrepreneur in 2021’’.
