WYA Europe Holds a Training in Rome

On March 10 and 11, 2018, World Youth Alliance (WYA) Europe Regional Director, Hrvoje Vargić, was in Rome to train new WYA members from this ancient city. The training was organized on the initiative of the Chapter leaders with the purpose of training new members who would become certified in WYA’s Certified Training Program (CTP) and active in the activities and projects of the Chapter.

During two days, members went through the first four chapters of the CTP, discussing the Foundational History of WYA, Human Dignity, Freedom and Solidarity. They were also given the training on WYA’s Advocacy work in Europe, HDC and FEMM programs and the work of WYA Chapters on the national and local level.

“I am very happy to see more and more young people joining our Mission in Europe and engaging in WYA’s Chapters. This demonstrates what we always knew – that WYA has that authentic spark in itself which attracts young people and makes them willing to commit to a Mission bigger than themselves, bigger than all of us”, said Hrvoje Vargić, WYA Europe Regional Director.

The second part of the Rome training is scheduled for April, after which WYA will welcome new certified members who will join the activities of World Youth Alliance Italia Chapter.
