WYA LA announces ELC Essay Contest Winner and Finalists

WYA LA conducted a Essay Contest for its members giving them a chance to win an all-inclusive pass for the LAELC 2014. The challenge was to express the role of youth within family due to the link of the latter to development in 800 words or less. The essays could be submitted in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese to make this contest accesible to the whole region of Latin America and the Caribbean.

With over 30 essay submissions the Evalution Committee chose the essay submitted by Hugo Jean Michel González Osuna as the winner. You can read the winner’s essay here. (Essay in Spanish)

WYA LA would like to also acknowledge the work of María José Alexander Villa and Víctor Manuel Reyna for the quality of their essays that made them finalists of the contest.
