WYA Latin America Welcomes Carlos Càceres Sarubbi, Regional Director of Operations
We would like to welcome Carlos Càceres Sarubbi from Paraguay to the WYA Latin America Head Quarters in Mexico City!
Carlos begun to work as WYALA DO during the WYA International Staff Meetings on August 25th, 2008.
Carlos Caceres Sarubbi hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, and has lived in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. After finishing his baccalaureate degree, he entered the Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of Our Lady of the Assumption where he specialized in youth education, entrepreneurial training, youth participation in public policy and popular education. Prior to joining WYA, he did an internship in Itaipu Binational within the Department of Environmental Management, where he helped develop the Social Development Program of the Binational Entity. A lover of music, Carlos plays the guitar and the viola, and was part of a musical project called Sounds of My Earth. He was a member of the Chamber Orchestra in Paraguay. He likes to surf and to play tennis. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French, English, and Guarani, a native language in Paraguay.
