WYA Members Spread Joy to Preschool Kids in the Philippines

Pasig City, Philippine, 15 December  2018 – The World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP) recently concluded their 2018 Christmas Outreach Party for the benefit of the children of Christian Mission Service Philippines (CMSP). The outreach party catered to over 85 preschool children from the surrounding areas in Pasig City and was held at one of the CMSP centers in the Philippines.

This year’s Christmas Outreach carried the title, Pangarap Kong Pasko or “My Dream Christmas.” The event opened with a storytelling session for the children regarding the importance of the themes that Pangarap Kong Pasko highlights: generosity, gratitude, and love for family. This was followed by games, dances, and presentations by WYA volunteers and the children.

The children and their teachers, in turn, presented a community dance for the WYAAP staff and outreach volunteers. The event concluded with WYA handing out gifts donated by WYA Members and friends.

All beneficiaries are graduates of the WYAAP Human Dignity Curriculum, implemented last November.

WYAAP would like to thank the regional interns, outreach volunteers, WYA Alumni, and all our sponsors and donors for their tremendous support and presence. We are also grateful for our friends at CMSP for welcoming WYA and allowing us to spread joy to their students.
