WYA President, WYA Africa Staff Meet with Philippine Ambassador to Kenya

May 18, 2017 – World Youth Alliance (WYA) President Lord Leomer Pomperada met with Philippine Ambassador to Kenya Norman Uriel Garibay to introduce WYA and to explore potential collaboration. Lord was joined by Mr. Oscar Beauttah, WYA International Board Member; Mr. Kevin Alando, WYA Africa Director of Operations; and Ms. Cynthia Wangari, WYA Africa Regional Intern.

Lord presented the different WYA projects globally and in the Africa region highlighting the Human Dignity Curriculum and Fertility Education and Medical Management. Lord also invited Ambassador Garibay to speak at the 2017 WYA Africa Regional Emerging Leaders Conference with this year’s global theme of migration and development.

Ambassador Garibay stressed the important work of WYA in promoting human dignity. He believes that young people are an important partner in bringing change to the world and he is interested in continuing the discussion and in giving lectures to WYA members in Kenya.
