January 6, 2020, Antique, Philippines – On their first day of school, World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP) President Lord Leomer Pomperada visited the students of Antique Christian Center (ACC) in their classrooms and shared his leadership journey at the student assembly and flag ceremony.
“I was once like you. I also went to preschool here at ACC. I may not remember a lot of things since I was still very young at that time but I do remember how much I loved going to school because of my teachers. They were great teachers. They molded me to the leader that I am today and for that I’ll be forever grateful,” Lord shared during the student assembly.
He also introduced the World Youth Alliance and shared the work that the organization does in promoting human dignity and building solidarity among the youth.
“You will all become the future leaders of our province and our country — leaders in government, business, schools or even in your own families. I hope that wherever life brings you, you will never forget who you are and where you come from. But most of all, never forget that you have inviolable worth as a human person,” Lord concluded.
