In January and February, WYA Africa had the honor of hosting the incoming President and the Chair of the Board of Directors on a tour of the region. It was Maryâs first trip to Africa and Mrs Seabrightâs second trip. The members did their best to make it all memorable for our guests. The team visited Nairobi, Lagos, Ibadan, Calabar, Warri, Abuja, Kigali and Goma with the message of Dignity and Peace. We thank all those who participated in the Seminar on Dignity and Peace especially those who helped make the events a success. We would like to acknowledge the support of the Anthony Fatayi Williams Foundation, the University of Ibadan, the Family and Human Life Unit in Warri, Yakubu Gowon Centre, the Catholic Secretariat in Lagos, and most especially World Youth Alliance members in Calabar, Kigali and Goma. About 500 young people signed the charter!! We look forward to the continued growth of the Alliance in Africa.
