June 24-30, 2019, Prague, Czech Republic – World Youth Alliance Southeast Europe (WYA SEE) held the first Certified Training Program (CTP) in the capital of Czech Republic. The training marked the beginning of the WYA Czech Republic Chapter.
Following the initial presentation of World Youth Alliance to the local youth in Prague, Czech Republic in January, WYA SEE organized an intensive Certified Training Program in the country’s capital. The five-day training included regular sessions from the CTP, in which the young participants were introduced to the history and work of World Youth Alliance, in Europe and worldwide. They were also engaged in seven session of in-depth analysis and discussion on fundamental ideas behind human dignity and human rights. The intensive CTP also included several documentary screenings, and an advocacy training.
The training was held at the House of National Minorities, and was financially supported by the Czech-Croatian Society in Prague.
The initial Certified Training Program marks the beginning of the WYA Czech Republic Chapter, making it already seventh WYA chapter in the Southeast Europe region.
