Why is it a great time to be a WYA member?

Dear Friends!

As we halt our usual social lives and socialize at a distance, now is the time to live in #Solidarity #Solitarily.

But do not despair! We can all live excellently – as the visible signs of need, suffering and injustice expose our universal human condition of vulnerability. What can I do? So much!

Tackle the learning curve and flatten the COVID curve with these creative solutions:

Celebrate WYA’s 21st Birthday!

How do we live courageously, regardless of our circumstances?

WYA is offering a free course that brings you the world. Readings from C.S. Lewis, Mahatma Gandhi, Pope John Paul II, Viktor Frankl, and many others, provide a clear understanding of human dignity and our mission.

We guarantee a full heart after you’ve gone through these readings. Click here to apply for the Certified Training Program.

Self-quarantine with the WYA Book/Film list

When’s the last time you felt a sense of awe and not “AHH!”?

We present the WYA film/book list, a curated list of stories told in film and text, that beautifully portray the human person. If you’re looking to dig deeper and spend the next few weeks drowning in great art,
these lists should get you started.

Home Schooling?

Want to know the definition of a hero? Download the Human Dignity Curriculum (HDC) to find out! The HDC is an engaging and interactive program that provides students with a rich anthropological understanding of who they are as human persons. Students love learning about human powers and that they can be heroes by choosing what is excellent for themselves and others. Available in grades K-8.

WYA Blog/Op-ed submissions open

Ready to be heard? Ready to be bold? The office is accepting write-ups, blog posts and articles by you, i.e. your Life and Times from around the world. We’d love to hear your thoughts and perspectives on issues that relate to our work. Check out our research publications on a range of topics such as population and environment, good governance, maternal health, and more.
