The World Youth Alliance Africa on the 10th of December spent time and took Christmas donations to the Huband cradle of Hope Children’s Home in Ngong’, Nairobi. Among the donations were assorted food stuffs, soft drinks and playing gears.
Huband Cradle of Hope Children’s Home (HCHCH) is an initiative founded by a small group of individuals responding to an overwhelming HIV / AIDS crisis in Kenya. It offers desperately needed foster and permanent care for orphaned and vulnerable children from all regions of Kenya. The home caters for 31 orphaned and abandonded children currently.
Accompanied by the Regional Director of Operations, Mr. Hezbon Mogambi, the World Youth Alliance Africa interns and
friends spent the day playing with the children and listening to their poems and songs.
While thanking the WYAA team 14 year old Bramwell Ortega, one the beneficiaries of the home, said "…even if you don’t bring any stuff we will always enjoy your time and company, you are always welcome to visit us.
