July 17, 2020 Manila, Philippines — World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP) successfully concludes their 3-part #DignityInDepth series last July 17, 2020 with their final session, Learning How to Lead Again featuring Renelyn Tan-Castillejos of Yorokobi.
The program started on July 3, 2020 with a session that focused on urban development and transportation in the new normal, entitled Men Without Roads. Featuring AltMobilty’s Patrick Jalasco and Palafox Associates‘ Mikey Ramos, the event tackled the solutions necessary for a more inclusive transportation system and safer public spaces.
The second session was held on July 10, 2020 and turned the spotlight towards the education sector. Entitled “Our Online Family”, It featured London School of Public Relations’ Candy Hernandez and De La Salle University-Laguna Campus’ Leandro Loyola, who talked about the challenges both educators and students faced in this transition to online schooling.
The last session, concluded last July 17, touched on leadership and personal growth amidst a new normal. Entitled Learning How To Lead Again, it featured Renelyn Tan-Castillejos of Yorokobi and discussed how young leaders can change their perspective amidst troubling times.
The event was an effort to gather our members and highlight how person centered solutions are needed in order to overcome the current challenges posed by the pandemic. The office thanks all the speakers and participants from all over the world who attended the discussions.
