WYAAP Launches 9th Emerging Leaders Conference

November 3, 2020 – World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific launches its 9th Emerging Leaders Conference In The Pink: Reproductive Health & It’s Link to Overall Health to be held via video conference on November 28, 2020 and December 5, 2020.

What does it mean to be a gift to those around us? At WYA, we believe that a proper foundation of the human person, coupled with proper education of bodily functions, is key to informed choice. This mindset paves the way for authentic empowerment which in return, develops a great solidarity with our society.

Day 1 will feature a FEMM talk with FEMM Education Manager Ginny Miller BSN, RN & FEMM Medical Doctor Celine Kinneberg, RN who will discuss the science behind FEMM Health and how ovulation is a sign of health. Through studying hormonal activity in a women’s body, we’re able to not only identify health concerns well in advance but also encourage true informed choice. This will be supplemented by a talk by WYA President Lord Pomperada who will discuss his experiences leading TeenMen and how the same approach also applies for men.

Day 2 will feature workshops on the philosophies behind Pope St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body with Joy Katigbak, and Ignatian spirituality with Third World Improv Founder and CEO, Gabe Mercado

With an interesting line-up, this ELC will surely be insightful for all attendees.

WYAAP would like to acknowledge the Inquirer.NET, Development Society of Ateneo, De La Salle University-Laguna Student Affairs Office and the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (or PAPSAS), Inc as their official media partners.

The 2020 ELC is free-of-charge and open to ALL. Limited slots available, sign-up now here (bit.ly/9thELCAP)
