As part of its advocacy efforts in educating the youth about threats to human dignity, World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP) will be releasing materials this September to raise awareness about child pornography.
The online campaign, produced in partnership with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) and the Inter Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), aims to educate young people about child pornography in order to help them identify child predators and to report instances of child pornography to proper authorities.
The campaign consists of a video and poster series, which will be circulated throughout September on social media platforms, primarily on the WYAAP Facebook page.
WYAAP would like to thank CFO and IACAT for making this campaign possible, and for their continuous efforts in addressing cases of child pornography in the Philippines. WYAAP would also like to thank illustrator, Paul Imbong, and the team of regional interns behind the campaign: Ayame Santos, Jopi Esquivas, Laksh Sharma, Giselle Lapid, Pauline Superable, Adrienne Tengco, and Maverick Espinola.
