December 14, 2019, Manila, Philippines – World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP) partakes at YSEALI’s #IgniteMNL 2019 held at Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.
Organized by YSEALI Manila Hub Alumni Leaders, the event gathered emerging leaders from Metro Manila for a series of talks and membership opportunities to different orgs. WYAAP spent the full day speaking with delegates and event heads about WYA during the events advocacy and opportunities fair. The organization was able to successfully gather over 150 members.
In the afternoon, the main plenary was held where different “Millennials in Action” spoke about youth empowerment and influence in different industries. World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP) President Lord Pomperada was part of the main panel alongside Mon Abrea of Tax Whiz PH, Cherrie Atilano of Agrea, Assistant Secreatry Paul Pangilinan of the National Youth Commission and James Reid of the Asian Consulting Group.
Lord spoke about the great drive of young people and the opportunities that come up when young people are invested on by institutions.
